Hi friends,
We’re Claire & Jeremy (Day19) and we just wanted to say how excited and honored we are to be working with you on this Wink project. Talking with you all on the call was such a highlight and it reminded us why we love what we do: working with great people on ideas that really matter.
For us, photography and directing is about more than just making images, it’s about connecting. We like to be right there in the middle of it all, engaging with the talent, finding those little spontaneous sparks, and shaping them into visuals that feel true, vibrant, and full of life.
We also love the collaborative side, sitting with the creative team, dreaming up scenarios, sketching storylines, and making sure every shot speaks to the bigger story we’re trying to tell. When the work carries that sense of comfort, camaraderie, and care, it hits deeper, and that’s exactly why this project feels so right for us.
We’ve pulled together some favorite images from our archives that capture the vibe. Joyful, real, and full of warmth. This campaign feels like the kind of storytelling we live for, and we’d be so proud to help bring it to life with you.
Thanks again for thinking of us. We can’t wait to see where this journey takes us together.

Double Vision: Harnessing the Strength of a Photographer Duo to Create Powerful Imagery (and a lot of it!)
We shoot as a team. This is a powerful dynamic that offers several advantages: efficiency, quantity of images, and two unique perspectives. We work together and separately, united in our creative vision while individually shaping and documenting the stories we see.
With both of us shooting, we’re able to capture a diverse range of shots simultaneously. This approach allows us to tell the complete story while also highlighting product shots in their natural environment, all within the same scenario.
We like to shoot with one camera always tethered and one that gets “to Roam”. Shooting tethered and untethered allows for images with different energy. While we are reviewing images on the monitor from one camera, one of us might catch a candid moment from the talent when they let their guard down. Maybe one of us is capturing a wider shot of the whole scene while one is close up capturing a product shot or completely different angle altogether.
Here’s an example of what we mean. These two images were shot a minute apart. One by Jeremy and one by Claire.
We share a style but we don’t always share an angle!

Through Their Eyes: Capturing Spontaneity and Connection Through Observational Photography
We think the best visuals feel spontaneous and happened-upon, so we immerse ourselves in the moment with the talent, capturing the action as it unfolds. We play music, get silly, tell jokes—we’ll happily do whatever it takes to build positive energy and momentum. We shoot up close from within the scene to connect our lenses directly to the characters and their emotions.
We want everything to feel like it was taken by someone sharing the same moment, not just observing it.

Discovering Hidden Gems: Empowering Talent through Innovative Casting Methods
It all begins with exceptional talent. Our casting agent will look for healthcare professionals in addition to actors. It’s important that our talent knows how to engage with the space naturally. We design questions that everyone can answer, always throwing in a curveball to reveal their personality and playful side. Additionally, we encouarge prospective talent to bring in family members or friends they’re already comfortable with. This approach has expanded our talent pool to include individuals who may not be pursuing acting or modeling but could be the authentic, magical person we’re all searching for.

The Power of Detail: Wardrobe, Locations, and Atmosphere in Advertising Storytelling
Wink should feel honest and genuine to the talent that is wearing them.
The locations should be lived in and offer a genuine experience, but also be free of clutter and any distracting elements that may take away from the story we are telling.
